Ultimamente mi sono occupata di due diversi spazi per esterno destinati al gioco, uno stabile ed uno provvisorio. Questi due progetti mi hanno condotto ad una ricerca unica nell’ambito del gioco a contatto diretto con la natura, senza l’utilizzo di attrezzature prefabbricate, ma il tutto realizzato con materiali e strutture naturali ed il meno possibile elaborate…
Non c’è nulla in contrario alle attrezzature ludiche standard, scivoli ed altalene vanno benissimo, ma quando si tratta di giardini privati, non tutti vogliono avere sott’occhio ogni giorno queste strutture, che visibilmente impattano molto e nel tempo non vengono più utilizzate…
Da qui l’esigenza di creare aree gioco “diverse”, non riconoscibili, flessibili ed integrate con la vita esterna del parco.
Così si possono creare percorsi materici, costituiti da vasche contenenti diversi elementi, che possono essere utilizzati per il gioco, i travasi o anche solo per la percezione tattile…
Poi ci sono tutte le possibilità che ci dà l’acqua e il suo scorrere, soprattutto d’estate, quando magari si deve anche irrigare… si possono creare percorsi e poi interromperli con i sassi e poi di nuovo farli scorrere….

I tronchi poi, quelli levigati dal fiume o dal mare che si trovano sulla spiaggia dopo le mareggiate, sono una grande risorsa, da tagliare come sgabello o da utilizzare per l’arrampicata.
Con rami e rametti si possono costruire capanne temporanee , proprio assieme ai bambini…
Se ci sono pendenze naturali, sfruttiamole con rampe di legno che saranno molto apprezzate dagli amanti della bici.
E, soprattutto, invitiamo i bambini ad interagire con l’ambiente.
Lo scivolo e il tappeto elastico, creano un movimento sano, ma non conducono a toccare, vivere, costruire e generare con la natura… coltivare un piccolo orto, osservare i gli Amici del sole che alla sera chiudono le corolle, annaffiare una piantina, costruire un nido, fabbricare lanterne per il buio… cerchiamo tutti i modi possibili per vivere l’esterno di giorno e di notte, perchè rimanga una traccia di quello che avremo fatto ed un bellissimo ricordo dell’estate.

Then there are all the possibilities that gives us water and its flow, especially in summer, when maybe you should also flush … you can create routes and then interrupt them with stones , and then slide it back ….

The logs on, those polished by river or sea that are on the beach after storms , are a great resource, to be cut or and to be used as a stool or for climbing.
With branches and twigs can be constructed temporary huts , along with their children …
If there are natural slopes , use them with wooden ramps that will be much appreciated by lovers of the bike.
And most importantly, invite the children to interact with the environment. The slide and trampoline, creating a healthy movement , but do not need to touch , live, build and create with nature … cultivate a small garden , look at flowers colours , watering a plant , build a nest , manufacturing lanterns for the dark … we try all possible ways to live outside during the day and at night, because it remains a trace of what we have done and have wonderful memories of summer.
